Second Valencia CF shirt auction helps raise money for Escoles COR Blanquinegre

Valencia CF held their second charity auction for the Escoles COR Blanquinegre project this week, helping a VCF Foundation initiative hat has helped more than 3,000 children in difficult social situations.
In the auction, run by the MatchWornShirt company, the shirts that the Valencia CF players wore in their match against FC Barcelona on May 2nd at Mestalla were put up for bidding, with fans from all over the world participating.
The treatment technology used in preparing the garments means that the elimination of any bacteria from the shirts is guaranteed -without damaging the fabric and preserving mud, grass and other distinctive stains picked up during the game. The winning bidders will be able to enjoy their new item in the best condition.
In total, more than €8,000 was raised in the auction. This money will facilitate the purchase of school and sports equipment for all the children who form part of the Escoles COR Blanquinegre project, which is centred in neighbourhoods in Valencia and surrounding towns.
